When Arlyn faced the cruel realization that he would never dance at the Bolshoi Ballet, he turned to advertising, which ended up being a lot easier on his lower back. But this gets ahead of our story. It all began with a highly coveted BA in English from the University of Missouri. Naturally, this degree led to hundreds of thousands of glamorous job offers which he masterfully parlayed into a position with a little-known ad agency in Seattle.

Never one to rest on his laurels, Arlyn continued his education at night and earned a Graduate-level Certificate in Technical Writing at the University of Washington. This expertise has helped him become a specialist in business-to-business and high-tech marketing for clients like Computer Associates, Motorola, Avnet, RealNetworks and zillions of others.

But don’t think Arlyn has lost touch with his tender, creative, dancing side. He does voice work for radio and TV, he draws cartoons and illustrations (as seen throughout this site), and he’s a master of the ad concept. He has some pretty impressive awards to show for it, including several Gold, Silver and Bronze Addys, a Judge’s Choice, one Best of Show at the American Medical Marketing Awards and an appearance in the prestigious One Show advertising annual.
