Jenny MossJenny likes words. But more importantly, she hates math and science. Which is why she went into advertising. After graduation from the University of Washington in 1991, Jenny began her career in Seattle where she wrote small, medium and large-sized words for clients like the Seattle Mariners, Starbucks Coffee, Holland America Cruise Lines, Westin Hotels & Resorts and lots more. When asked if it really rains as much in Seattle as people say, she responds, “No. It rains more.” Now that she lives in sunny Phoenix, Jenny can even do her writing in the presence of kitchen knives and not be a danger to herself or others. Unlike most copywriters, Jenny shuns the glamour of high-tech and business-to-business writing (who wouldn’t die for a juicy annual report?), opting instead for more mainstream stuff: television, radio, print and outdoor. So far it’s worked out: Jenny has accumulated a bunch of awards including more than a dozen Gold, Silver and Bronze Addys, countless Telly Awards, a Bronze and a Finalist at the New York Festivals, a Clio and a Radio Mercury Bronze World Medal, to name a few.
